The fact that oral literature is the subject of our attention has its origin in our interest to show the expressive forms and artistic civilization of the word as living in Catalonia and in general in rural Europe until the beginning of twentieth century through the popular legends.

In the last few years we have seen increasing interest for oral and traditional

culture, and such rich history has become a widespread pastime.

These traditional stories become a real treat when they are professionally acted

and perfomed by a cast of actors and musicians.
